You may need to replace the muffler clamp. My experience has been that once the clamp has been tightened, it usually cannot be re-used with the same clamping force as new.
An air compressor CAN be used to fill your shocks, but you MUST set the regulator down to 30-35 psi so it will not pump higher than that. Provided the air compressor has a regulator. I use mine all the time. Only problem I do have is my air pressure gauge (race car type with rubber covered gauge, long hose and pressure release button) causes an air loss when used so I am guessing within a pound or 2 as to what I have in the shocks. But its not required to have pressure that precise. One of these days I will get the Harley pump.

The Hayabusa is a phenomenal bike. I'll have one again once life gets more settled, kids are older, and I have the time and cash to have 2 bikes for myself.
I will try the exhaust as is with the clamp in the proper location, if that doesn't work, I'll replace the clamp. Also thinking of putting a set of slip-ons on there so might not have to worry about tightening the stock mufflers any longer...
