Default 21 and stock fender

i see you can fit a 21 with the stock fender, but you have to modify it a little by drilling the rear hole.

anyone have some pics, and more detailed instructions?

my 21 will be here tomorrow and i want to get a head start on the fender

Depending on your tire it may just fit so you should probably wait.

I have elite 3's and had to drill out just a bigger rear hole. Get a good drill bit, the crappy one I used made it difficult.

and exactly what bit did you use?
after the hole is drilled do i just hold the back up and bolt it down?

I don't know exactly what size bit I used, but it was bigger obviously and I just made the whole larger. It was not a sheet metal type bit and it'd be worth buying one I'd think if you need to do it. You basically will have to mount up the whole thing to see if it's necessary.

Yeah, I just made the hole bigger and then lifted it up in the rear and tightened it down w/ threadlock. I think I also tried to push back down the tabs that lock the nuts in place.

That's exactly how mine was, just a light rubbing.

Good luck.

Drilled mine out with a 3/8 drill bit. Lifted up on the back of the fender and tightened it down. Taped a 1/4 nut to the center on the tread, spun the tire and the nut didn't rub. Been good for 20k miles and 3 Metzeler 120/70/21's

I'm running that same tire with no mods.

+1 for the holes, run Avon 120/70 without problems
