It would be nice to at least have the option of a water cooled touring bike. Could possibly sway buyers of metric bikes. I know the old school riders wouldn't care for it right away, but I think over time, it could become quite popular

If they could some what hide the radiator I would be on board. I came from a V-Rod where you could let it idle for hours if you wanted it too and it would not overheat. It's the future and will probably be here in the not to distant future.
I would be interested if they did, I've rode a couple of V Rods and always made the comment if the engine was in a tour frame and a little bigger, I would definetly consider it, the lower heat level on a hot day is a plus.
I don't know if it would be as great as some people think. I can tell you that the liquid cooled bikes I've owned and ridden you can definately tell when the fan kicks on.
Next time you get home from driving your car, open the hood and feel. Liquid cooling does not equate to cooler.
My dealer said that at one of the dealer meetings HD Executives were asked about the possibility. The Executives stated categorically it would not happen because the engine was too expensive to produce and would result in bikes that were not price competitive. Now this might be a case of double bluff but I suspect not. I do suspect thought that there may be other "engines" that came out of the Porche collaboration.
In having a v rod, and knowing a few people who have done bagger conversions, I mean full ones fairning and all, check out cycle visions, there would definatley have to be some major cubic inches added to gain some torque. The V rod is a sweet high reving motor that has a lot of power especially compared to the weight of the bike.
