Default Chrome don't get ya home.

I see lot's guys wrap their bikes engines and transmissions on chrome covers. It just keeps in the heat.

Cool engines run happier. With a FM Stage 1 and a Jagg Deluxe cooler on my 07 I stay about 200 most of the time, and sometimes crawl past that in stop and go traffic. But I've also notices that with the oil cooler the bike returns to lower temps more quickly (in dash oil temp guage) when I start moving.

Thanks for the info. I'll take a look & maybe I can open up the hole to expose more fins & still have the factory look. But here in N. Cali where we have 90 to 100+ days that 10 degrees is helpful.

Default 10 degree lower oil temp

Any pics of the oil cooler with the plastic cover removed??

The engineers who designed it had it on there for some reason..

Yeah...To make your bike look Purdy!

Will go out and take a pic. Personally I like it better removed.

Here you go. And 10 deg ( possibly more, I'm allowing for today's cooler temps) might not mean a lot to some of you, but when you're running 250 in city traffic, every little bit helps.

Talking

I don't know but taking it off may void your warranty.

Chrome is better than plastic. The heat will radiate to the chrome and cool off, the plastic just holds it in.

Default 10 degres cooler

Thanks for the pic!! That's not so bad--looks like it was meant to be. Does the plastic cover just snap off-or screwed on. Haven't looked yet- but that's sure an option..
