Why would sales drop by 50%?

This system was very discreet and did the job. Seeing as how many posters here moan about overheating i'd say it would bring in a fair few new customers. The impression i got was that an air-cooled version would still be available, though i suspect that would change with time. It also suggested the system was very simple, and could be easily modified.

If I wanted a liquid cooled bike, I'd have bought one. Many to choose from. I like my pushrod activated air cooled bikes. The same might be said about the old Chevy Corvairs. You either have a passion for them or you don't! Glad your one that likes a Harley for what it is! Pretty amazing really. The technology put into an old school motor that makes it run so well without self destructing, the reliability everything about it I guess! Enjoy the new bike.

Correct, I haven't a clue. I'm simply reporting on what is being reported. But if its pure speculation, why are a reputable source like MCN showing intricate diagrams of the new system?

And btw, it's an identical engine with a couple of tiny pipes running water around the hot spots.

In a few weeks time - or sooner - you'll see the new system for yourselves.
