The Uk's Motocycle News (paper version, couldn't see it on their site) ran an article this week with pictures of the new system on an Electra glide. The small fan powered radiators were in the lower fairing, one either side, and did not detract from the look at all. The cylinders looked identical, but two small pipes ran from the radiators to the cylinders and then around the bottom of the exhaust. There were several diagrams and an article about how they worked.
There was no indication of where they would be located on a bike with no fairing lowers, but the article suggested they would be available (but not compulsory) from 2012.

I think if you keep your RG a few years, maybe when you trade it in, they'll have a V Rod with bigger engine and a fixed fairing (liquid cooled tourer). lol.

V rod engine in a touring bike might just be a winner, it will come one of these days.

i don't think so. with the trend being to go to bigger engines, i think a lot of folks would have a problem with a 76 ci engine. especially since it only makes 85 ft/lbs of torque at 7000 rpms. most people would be lugging the crap out of that engine, they just aren't used to having to rev a harley that high.

i think when they do go liquid cooled (hey, oil is a liquid too right?) it'll be something else

FWIW, the coolers in the MCN article were all water, not oil.
