Default Hillside Cycles and My Stage II Headwork...

Just received my heads back from Scott and the crew at Hillside Cycles in Munnsville, NY! All I can say is WOW! These guys know what they are talking about and their craftsmanship is second to none! This is their Stage II head job and they will be going on my 107' Axtell build with Wood 555 cams, Wood lifters and Fuel Moto adjustable pushrods with Cometic head gaskets.

My only advice would be to send your heads during the slow season...NOT the beginning of the riding season! Don't ask me how I know that!

I can't wait to get the 'beast' back on the road!

Steve

Nice. What springs did you use?

Did you do any crank work?

I'm not sure about the specific springs they used...they were part of the Hillside kit.

If I had known how long my ride would be down, I would have had the lower half worked at the same time. I'm planning on doing it this coming winter. I am aware of the 'stock' bottom half issues when you do performance work...but I'll keep that in mind when I'm riding her this summer.

Scott has done two builds for me, a 98" and a 103", and both are monsters. Hillside will always be my first choice for any engine performance upgrades.

Just about as pleasant of a person you would ever want to deal with...knows his stuff, for sure!
