I am in need for a oil cooler that will work for 2:1 exhaust and wide band sensors. I have Rinehart 2:1 and Thundermax EFI and the HD Premium Oil Cooler adapter will hit the oxygen sensor and unable to use this cooler. I have contacted both Oil Bud and Jagg about whether the oil filter adapter will hit the oxygen sensor and each are really unsure if there will be an interference or not; Jagg believes there's will clear but the technician is guessing. The HD model is up and out from the oil filter region and hits the WB sensor and just barely cleared the end of the stock sensor by 1/8".

My Jagg oil cooler is mounted on the left down tube of the frame and is nowhere near the exhaust.

 

It's not the cooler that is the problem it's the adapter that connects to where the oil filter goes that takes the oil through the cooler and back to the engine.

 

Check out the HPI mounting solution. No thermostat, but I'm not running one on the Jagg mount and don't feel the need to.
