I do have a friend who is a salesman at HD dealership, he couldn't confirm it, but he said they had no engine option when pre-ordering their 2012s. So they're all going to be the same, whatever size that is.
Whats the life expectancy of a TC-88 motor? My dealer still has an 06 RK with 35K on it,,,, The cam tensioner has not been done (yet) but would be the first thing I would do to it.
I am curious as to how much life I could get out of it? Will a Harley go 100K?
A TC88 will easily go 100k miles. Change the oil every 3k-5k with any decent oil & filter and watch it rack up the miles...
Know lots of Harleys that have gone 100K without major work .. Evo and Twin Cams Both.. The 04 Sportster I sold my Buddy with 40 K on it at the time now has 90K on it with no major work other than the 1200 Big Bore I did at 5 K ..
If.. all 2012's are going to be 103's I wonder what pricing will be like? Will you be able to by a 103 minus the security, oil cooler, compression release, and anti - lock for the same as a 96 now?
survey says the number one answer is 103 with abs and acr's on tourers
the number two answer is cvo's with 120's
the number three answer is 110 is option engine
Oh and by the way, the moon is made of green cheese.
