Plus 1 on heal shifter. Go to 1st and use heal to tap back and it finds it right away. I also use Amsoil Heavy Shock 75/90.

Same issue with my 07 when new. Changed to (synthetic gear lube of your choice) and had improvement within 2 blocks.

I have the same problem with my 2011 Road King Classic. I submitted a post about it here. It's a PIA to find neutral.

My new 11 RK was almost imposable to get in to neutral when new. I just got done with the 1000 mile service with Amsoil in all 3 holes and 300 miles later, it's better, but still harder to find then my other 3 Harley's I had.

I had that problem on 2010 Ultra Limited when new. After a change to Redline Shockproof and about a good 10,000 miles, it is easy to find neutral. I now have 11,285 miles and have only adjusted the clutch cable to specs. No other adjustments yet.

I put in Mobil synthetic at 1000 miles and now its easy to find. When it was new I had to roll it about a foot to allow it to move in to neutral. As others have said, change the fluids and adjust the clutch.
