Here is a link that will REALLY help doing the internal wiring with the 575s.

I have the WO575s and you will definitely need to try them in person.

I think you will be disappointed with the height. Even though they state they are 10"s tall, they are about 4"s lower than a 12" Apes because of the way the grips angle down.

They are a definite improvement over stock but no where near your 13" Buffalo Bars in hand position.

Thanks everyone for the responses. I think you're right Copyless, hands on approach would be best. Texas Fat Boy, thanks for your honesty. Excellent comparison DuraGlide, thanks!!

The service manager at my local dealership ordered the 575's and the 577's so I can check them both out in person. I'll see what happens in a couple of days!

I just last week got my 575's on. I am 5'7" 29 inseam. The bars are back more towards me and they are wider than the OEM's. I have gotten use to that now after about 200 miles. I also had it lowered 2" in the front and an inch in the rear. I can now flat foot it with a little bend in the knees. Now it is great for when i am backing out of a situation. Before the lowered front it was harder to back without being able to bend those knees. Only complaint would be the width but i am getting use to that. You can use your OEM clutch cable but i went with a 4 inch over. Also i went with Blemished Bars 575's YOU CAN"T FIND A THING BLEMISHED about them. You can save some bucks if you aren't in a hurry. Go to their site and click on Blemished and they may have some now. While i was deciding they had three pair of Blemished , nest day i decided to get them and they were gone, i called and asked and he put me on the list for Blemished when they would have some, it took me about three weeks before he had any. One day i came home and the pkg. was at the door.

You will like them.

Default 577 all the way

I'm 5'7 and have the 577's on a 2010 sg, love them , they are just right, no shoulder pain or numbness in hands. I think you will like them better than the 575. Much better than stock for sure....Good luck.

Popeye, when you're sitting on your SG with the 577's, where are your hands in relation to your torso? Above your shoulders, even with shoulders, tit level, in between?

Default shoulder level

pretty much even with shoulder level, stright out, no pain, perfect setup for me, everyone is different, I think you'll find they are much more comfortable than stock. See if you can find someone who has them but honestly I never tried them before I had them installed and love them, would never go back....good luck

Can you email me some pictures with you sitting on the bike? I just bought a 2013 SG and it will soon be going in the shop for apes. Looking more toward the 577's. Thanks a bunch!
