Default Rocker suport base

Heres the deal ,, checked the end play on the rockers today ,, (.019 to .020 ) that was bolted in the heads,, took the rockers and suport base off the eng and the end play was less,, ok a but unsure now,, so i bolted them back in and the end play was as said above,, so whats going on with that ,, do thay warp that much when bolted in ,,, is it time to get new ones and any one know anything about the SE rocker suport bases are they much better??? thanks

End play is to be checked while bolted in. Base adjustments on those measurments.
