Vance & Hines Pro Pipe

Have had one since I got the bike in 07. I get a lot of compliments on the sound. Just got back from the Myrtle Beach Bike Week and had strangers telling me they like the sound. When I first bought it I was looking for more low end torque and I am very satisfied in that category. A lot of people don't like the 2 into 1 pipe but I love it. If you want a low throaty tone this is the pipe for you. When I kicked down on the bike the pipe really comes to life. Best part the pipes low tone keeps you from getting a headache on those long rides.

I have one on my 2010 Road Glide and totaly agree with those comments, but I'll add a wrinkle.........my feelings are that it's fairly loud, lowed, loude.....however you want to spell it, LOUD.
Note:
I do not have the quiet baffle though, just the standard one.
For short rides my opinion is that it's great, (ie all of the above) and I'll add that it performs pretty well also.
For longer rides such as 5-10 hours, it's an ear ringer even with a 3/4 helmet.
Now, let me qualify my opinions in that I am an old fossil (about to turn 59).
Since being around Drag Racing for 42 of those years, I am getting tired of those kind of continuous loud noises now.
When the pipe was new, it didn't seem that loud, but after accumulating 6,000-7,000 or more miles on it, mine did get louder.
While on those longer rides, I'd prefer to be able to Listen to "******* Place", "Outlaw Country" or the 50's or 60's on XM than that wonderful (albeit loud to me) exhaust note.
So, I'll probably gut me another stock headpipe and reinstall my Screamin Eagle Nightstick muffler and leave a little performance behind.
Again, this is my .02
Oh yeah.....anyone have a Fuel Moto 2-1 headpipe they want to get rid of?
Ride on and Ride Safe
