Default Help with SERVICE BULLETIN M-1185 8 deg fuel injectors

Today my bike stalled again, only the 2nd time both during hot days. For 2006 models there is this service bulletin:
http://www.box.net/shared/gm9evapytd

It states how to check what injectors you have:
While standing on the left side of the motorcycle, the part number on the rear fuel injector can be easily read with the aid of a flashlight.

Where am I supposed to be looking, I was trying to check it out with no success finding them. (maybe im blind, or just stupid) if anyone has a pic that would be awesome.

Thanks in advance for the help

I was able to verify that my 2006 FLHXI had the 8 degree injectors by the method described in the bulletin, then had the dealer change them out. My bike stumbled when cold and had no issues after the change.

Thanks, I did find it, and once you find it it is relatively easy to see and read the numbers. I have the new injectors in it. so I have to find out why I'm stalling.

Interesting topic. I just picked up my 06, so I'll have to take a look at mine.

Never knew of this. My 06 Road King Classic With 07 TLE side car rig. Will just crap out at a stop light at times on hot days. But it will start right back up. Yes I have the old model injectors. Will the Dealer (Motor Company) still make good on them? To the OP thanks for the heads up.

The new injectors cost around $75 bucks each from LSHD1. For me it's a PIA to change them out. With the side car on the bike. I'm going have to be in the mood for this one. Plus I'll have to get the ECM reflashed at the dealer. ( read another post I found doing a search) Member has a 06 88B Softail. Dealer won't make good on it. Account 5 years old with some mods on it. I'll ask the dealer were I bought mine from. But I don't like there service dept anyways. All there looking to do is deliver new bikes. Couldent give a **** about a 5 year old SB. Don't hurt to ask. But I hate getting bull ******. I wonder why the 05 and back FI TC88's don't have this issue?

I used to have some bumbling and stumbling with my 2000 FLHRI but that was the old MM FI system. But the bike always ran solid under acceleration...

Default hope you can see my arrows

when you unplug them mark the plugs, they can be interchanged, would really run like crap with the front on the rear and rear wire on the front.
