Have em put in writing there is a law for manufacturer to prohibit to push their own fluids unless no cost to you . As long you use right equivalent of recommended fluids you should be fine.

see you're in Michigan, don't know what part but in my neck of the woods they closed the only dealer I had any respect for last year (American in Ann Arbor) now I'm stuck with either Motor City or Brighton HD and have little confidence in either one for any type of work. Brighton tried the same **** with me when I purchased a bike there after American closed, told me they wouldn't honor the warranty if I did my own maintenance. Haven't been in there since for service or parts, now I just get the little things I need ASAP at Motor City and the rest of my business goes to LSHD where you get a 20% discount and no sales tax and free shipping if it's $500 or more.

Two dealers closest to me both sell Amsoil. Recently had a warranty claim, right before the warranty was out, and when they asked how I had the bike serviced I replied I did my own service. They didn't bat an eye fixed it under the warranty and said have a good day. Like others have suggested get a new dealer.

I use Amsoil in all three holes. 20W-50 in the engine and primary and Severe Gear 75W-90 in the transmission.

I use the MoCo's petroleum based in all 3. I change all @ 2500 miles.
I trust their engineers, and it gives me piece of mind.

I run AMSOIL in all three holes. Auto/motorcycle mfgs. can't tell you what brand oil you can/can't use as long as it meets specs in your manual. I'd take my bsiness elsewhere. JMHO

TOTAL BS! The dealer that told you that is a douche!
My Local HD Dealer (Gengras in Hartford, CT) actually sells Amsoil and if you have service done at the dealer you can request Amsoil.
It has better ratings that the Screamin Eagle Syn oil, and the dealer not only sells it but they will tell you the facts in regard to how it out performs other oils...

They sell HD conventional, HD Screamin Eagle syn, and Amsoil, all on the same shelf!

Quick Reply: What oil brand do you use? Dealer told me they will not warranty amsoil?
