Default saddlebag lid organizers

for those of you that have them are you happy with them? would you get them again and do they get in the way when you really have your bags packed to the hilt? just not sure on getting them. what type of items do you all put in yours. thanks for all your help.

I have them. They are handy, I keep a flashlight, tire gauge and shock pump in them, along with a few other items. Honestly the double stuck tape doesn't work, even with the few lightweight items I have in them. I've reattached them a few times.

I have the HD ones and they work very well to keep all of the small things where you can get at them easier. The double sided tape that comes with them does not work very well. After a while the tape failed and I replaced it with heavy duty (red) double sided tape from Home Depot. I think it is important to keep pressure on it for several hours or even overnight. I stuffed pillows in the saddlebags and closed the lids to keep pressure on it.

I have the lidgear as well. Nice product but the compartments aren't large enough for the stuff I have in the organizers.

I have the HD ones. Brought the bags into the house this winter and installed them in the lids in the heat with no strain strain on them. Gave them about a week to cure and no problems now with them letting go. I put my shock pump, tire repair kit and other dodads in mine; wife puts girly stuff in hers. I can't understand why the HD ones do not match exactly the shape of the lids - they're a bit short on one side and a bit long on the other and the gap for the hinge is a bit too tight. But... I like them. Also have the tour pak lid organizer. Having more of a problem getting one corner of that to stick - it's flat while the lid is raised in the centre and depressed on the sides.

It seems they fit my 01 bags better than the new ABS bags. But I did like them enough to buy again. Registration, ear plugs, shock pump, night riders.
