I had the opposite effect, yes they produced less brake dust, but mine sounded like a was stopping a freight train when applied, clean them, put and squeal and all with no luck, I also figured they'd break in for 1000 miles later still squealed, put OEM ones back on been quiet since. I know I am in the minority with my experience but just an FYI they might work for you or they might not (dealing with the noise)

I had a problem with a set a while back. They were squealing some so I contacted them and the sent me a complete new set - No questions asked. Later the owner of the company called me to make sure the replacements were working ok. He explained that they had a problem with a certain manufacturing run and apologized for it.

Maybe you got a set in the same run - give them a call they seemed committed to customer satisfaction. The ones that were making noise did not have a grove cut in them - the replacements did but I am not sure that was the problem or not.
