Guys, I usually don't have this much trouble figuring things out but I've got another question. Do I need 3 sets to do my front and rear pads or does the front come as a set for the dual discs?

3 sets. Each "set" covers one caliper.

Yup, what he said above. One set for each caliper. The high cost of owning a bagger. LOL.

Thanks fellas. At that price I think I'll go ahead and run my pads until they need replaced and then I'll give the lyndall gold + pads a try.

The Lyndall's will last far longer than the stock pads as well. I have about 30K on my fronts and they are almost ready to be replaced.

I have the Gold ones and have had them for over a year. Brake dust is not a problem with these pads. Very please with he product as well as the customer service. Note however, when you first put them on you may feel they don't stop as well as stock pads but within in a couple of miles they are burned in and in my opinon stop better than stock pads plus the seem to last longer as well. Good Luck, I think you will like them.

I put the Lyndals on my 2003 Ultra and was completely satisfied with them, how are they with the newer models with ABS?

I've read through this thread and cant work out the difference between...
Z+ and Gold+ plus, I'm not really worried about mileage or stopping in the rain, I just want to do away with the brake dust problem on my Whitewalls and keep my discs looking nice. which one is recommended for my criteria?.

Either the Zs or the Gold pads will reduce, if not eliminate dust. The Gold are a little stickier, better when wet, and won't last quite as long as the Zs.

Check out there site www.lyndallracingbrakes.com I have them no more brake dust & they stop better than the stock pads & still get 20,000 out of them!
