It's been 4 weeks and I'm still waiting on part of the brake line from the dealer. Supposedly Jun 6th is when the line will be here, so in the mean time I've had ample idle time to check out other bikes with the different cables on 16' apes, but one thing I noticed is some have clamps on the bars and some do not. SD HD has a RKC Police bike with 16" bars and there are no clamps other than the stock clutch clamp that bolts to the lightbar bracket.

 

My pic has 16's without cable clamps on the bars...I don't mind the look at all but of course I may be biased.
