Default Lyndall rotors on 2009 roadglide

Hi ., Gary Saia , here in Tyler , texas area , and DFW , also , been riding an 2009 RoadGlide for 2 years , now , being vertically challenged as my friends say , Yes 5'6" , short legs , did all the battles to make the Bike right , after Fat Baggers 3 inch drop seat conversation , Progressive 940 shocks , Cartridge front end , well time to tackle the rotors and brakes , Well not satisfied with stock rotors and brake pads ,, my stock \front brakes whined , when braking and rear wheel squealed . So I thought to call PAUL AT LYNDALL Brakes , and we talk and talked , He Sent a set of front Lug Driven stainless rotors , and Black and High polished stainless , and 2 sets of Gold Z Pads , we and my Mechanic in dallas, Tom put all these on and also beveled the leading edge of the pads and added SBS Shim pads to back of the pads , also added Magnum sheilding new black pearl brake and clutch cable and brake lines , WOW , WOW , WOW , Now i have best brakes my bike has ever seen, !!!!! , great stopping even on first rides , no whinning noise , no squeal , smooth as a baby's bottom , STOP ON A dime , love those floating rotors !!! , had Harley floating rotors , stop great , but when I hit the brakes they clicked so loud could not stand them , Paul has great Customer Service , best rotors and gold pads are awesome , bevel the leading edges of each pads and add SBS Shim pads to backing plates . I am ordering a Lug driven floating Rotor for the rear , FINALLY got the right rotors and right company that will never stop to satisfy the Customer , THANKS PAUL

Agreed a huge improvement to say the least also you will find not as much brake dust and they will last so long you won't believe it. I love mine also no comparison to what HD put on for sure!

I got the progressive 940's not impressed, I also have the lug drive rotors with composite friction rings and gold+ pads, look great and have great braking on the dry days, can hardly stop when it is raining, and the sure do rattle a lot, I called Lyndall and they were going to send me a new improved pad, a month and a half later I am still waiting so off they will go as soon as my new polished HD rotors show up.

I put Lyndall composite rotors and PM 6 piston calipers on mine. They don't heat up like metal and they don't have any measurable break dust. And they stop the bike very well, indeed. OP...yours look awesome!!!
