First drop in 30 years of riding. Fellow riders would tell me I was way overdue. Turning into a driveway slowed down too much and hiyt some gravel and I could feel it going over. Knew I wasn't going to save it so I guided her down. Driver footboard got a little chipped up but I can not see any other damage which I can't believe. So here I am in the middle of the road and cars just go around me with no offer of help. A guy comes out of a collision shop and helps me lift the bike up and I was on my way. Boy a sure did feel like an a-hole that's for sure.
I dropped it with my wife on the back, I was backing down out of a parking space & just as I was getting ready to take off, she shifted her weight & the bike dropped. I got it up by my self but had a thought that it may not happen. I have seen how you're supposed to lift it since (I new that but spaced it out at the time). Glad you & your bike are ok.
I have never done that - yeah right; at least not over 3 or 4 times and the most recent was 2 months ago. Dropped my '06 V-Rod and broke the brake lever in half.
It does make you feel rather stupid. Glad you were not hurt.
its a bitch when this sort of thing happens , but your both fine , and thats what counts , we all do it , some more than others , and you less than most , hope you have the same good luck in the future .
Doesn't it suck when you realized it reached the point of no return and there's no way to stop it. Dropped my 02 Fatboy moving it around the garage when it was two weeks old.
