Default Dropped my brand new Street Glide tonight

First drop in 30 years of riding. Fellow riders would tell me I was way overdue. Turning into a driveway slowed down too much and hiyt some gravel and I could feel it going over. Knew I wasn't going to save it so I guided her down. Driver footboard got a little chipped up but I can not see any other damage which I can't believe. So here I am in the middle of the road and cars just go around me with no offer of help. A guy comes out of a collision shop and helps me lift the bike up and I was on my way. Boy a sure did feel like an a-hole that's for sure.

Glad to hear you weren't hurt, and the damage to your scoot was minimal. Now you got it over with you can go another 30 yrs without a drop.

I dropped it with my wife on the back, I was backing down out of a parking space & just as I was getting ready to take off, she shifted her weight & the bike dropped. I got it up by my self but had a thought that it may not happen. I have seen how you're supposed to lift it since (I new that but spaced it out at the time). Glad you & your bike are ok.

Now you can get the floorboards you have been wanting for ever!
Sucks that it happens this way. Glad you are ok. Bike can be fixed!

I can't believe you dropped your motorcycle.

I have never done that - yeah right; at least not over 3 or 4 times and the most recent was 2 months ago. Dropped my '06 V-Rod and broke the brake lever in half.

It does make you feel rather stupid. Glad you were not hurt.

Doesn't it suck when you realized it reached the point of no return and there's no way to stop it. Dropped my 02 Fatboy moving it around the garage when it was two weeks old.
