2011 road glide--procharged
Picked up a new 2011 road glide-and decided to try out a procharger. Frank over at Drago's bike works was very helpful and provided lots of good information about what to expect. Added the wood 555 cams and a bosscat exhaust with the performance baffle (loud).
The install wasn't bad at all and it took about 6 hours to do. The instructions from procharger are very good, with one or two minor exceptions. Frank was there to fill in the gaps along the way.
Took the bike over to joe at www.joescyclerepair.com for a tune. He's about 4.5 hours from me but frankly, he's the only qualified tuner in the area that i would trust to tune the bike and dial it in. Other tuners in the local area tune them, but i have seen their work product and it isn't that impressive. So--on the trailer it went for the 4.5 hour journey out to see Joe.
Joe spent the better part of day one adjusting start up fuel, idle, IACT and other settings. Then day two began the slow journey up the rpm range to get the bike running comfortably. Day 3 was all about turning up the heat....or should i say boost. 10 lb's at 6k and were knocking on 150 hp and 125 TQ.
Should have the bike back for the weekend. Looking forward to getting it on the open road. Will keep ya posted. But a big shout-out to frank at dragos and joe at www.joescyclerepair.com for all their efforts.
I put this in the touring section as opposed to blower section because i am sure lots of members have been interested about these prochargers. So hopefully my experience will be able to shed some light on them. Stay tuned....

Thanks for posting this and telling us about your bike. I have been toying with the idea of a ProCharger but also have to wait for the check book to grow a little.
Please post some pictures, give us an idea of what it cost you for this mod, and id you can the dyno sheets cause I would like to see them too.
It sounds like you now have an awesome RoadGlide and you will be having a blast this weekend on it.

I'll get some pics over the weekend to post...trying to scan in some dyno sheets now.....
I added the 103 pistons and barrells...it's the vpc lockup on the clutch. Other than cams and pipes, no other mods. As to the cost--it's around 5k. And i gotta say--a great bang for the buck.
We have it set to run very conservative in this New england summer weather -easy on timing and plenty of fuel. iI did not dyno it before hand.....frankly because in stock form they are just pathetic. I'm working on posting a couple sheets....

The numbers look good, just would like the torque to be on more of an even curve, maybe a different cam would change that. But for 5k, definetly a lot of bang for the buck, maybe I need to look deeper in to the procharger.
