My 2000 is the 3rd rubber mount that I've owned and I run the heck out of them. At 90,000 miles on this one I check fall-a-way every now and then and occasionally even try to start a wobble as a test of the chassis. I haven't been able to do it yet.

The 09 design is stiffer so the woble tendency is reduced. But these are all relatively good handling touring bikes after all. And aftermarket improvements will help both models for guys that ride more aggressively.

( I keep telling myself that I'm gonna buy one for mine but just haven't felt the need strongly enough apparently!)

there is no way that i could ride my
07 with out a stablizer the back end
wobbled like a bowl or jello, and i thought
the rear shocks were shooting dice
to see which one had to work next

I'm with you -- a little over inflation on the tires helped a bit -- BUT -- going down to bike week friday passing a car a 80 it went into wobble mode -- luckly for me I have experienced this before --my 06 does not do this -- my 09 RG has done it several times--change tires from Metz to Avons still occurs

So you're saying your '09 with the new improved frame wobbles and your '06 doesn't?

I have an 11 SG and yesterday I experianced a lil wobble at about 80mph. I thought it was just because it was windy but now Im not so sure.

Exactly, I don't have the death wobble but it feels like a tire going down or it's windy , but mine does it if it's windy out or not , I've got 30 days to see if the True Track works and will post

How many miles on your bike? Is this shimmy something you noticecd since day one or has it become more pronounced with added mileage?
Do you only detect it at higher speeds through the curves...say above 70? Or, does it happen at slower speeds too?

I want to do everything I can to make my bike Highway worthy and as safe as possible, certainly at highway speeds. $400 bucks aint really "cheap"... yet if it is a definate improvement I dont mind spending the money...especially after you invest $26K to buy it and thousands more in trinkets and doo-dads...

So far I have not noticed any issues.. seems to cruise solid as a rock at 80+ MPH...but i only have 3500 miles on it... I can say for certain this 2010 is remarkable improvement over the 2005 ultra i got rid of with 10,000miles on it.

I would like to hear some reports from those whose have this True-track setup installed.

I know my 09 Ultra isn't a racing machine, but I should be able to push 100 by todays standards without any issues. My bike gets loose @85 and at 90 becomes a white knuckle adventure. Looking forward to upgrade results.

My 09 runs straight and true up to and over 100mph; it's the "tail wagging the dog" in the curves that bothers me-- very unstable when moderately pushing through the curves and twisties.
