I have 32,000 on my 09 ultra and since I had a 103 kit installed I can think of nothing HD can do that would make want to replace it

 

I sold my SuperGlide Custom at 5K. The SG isn't going anywhere.

 

I run them till they just wont run no more. My 07 has 39,000 miles and still runns strong. When the day comes I work on it more than I ride it I will get a new one till then I just ride and smile knowing my walet still has money in it.

Just traded in for an 11 SG with powerpack specifically because I wanted ABS.

 

nope. 75k as of now. cheaper to replace eng or trans when it goes. very l;ittle changes style wise. why trade?

 

I've been thinking about how long I'm going to keep my '08. Right at 40K miles now, and don't have any intention of getting rid of it yet. Haven't finished working on it yet. But I'm wondering how much really high mileage is going to affect trade-in or resale. Going to read the rest of the posts in this thread now.

 

I trade bikes when I trade wives! Third bike, 2001 Roadking classic, hope to keep this one a while longer new ones are too expensive.( the bikes are too!!!)

 

Mines an 2009 Road King with 16K on it. it will be two year old on the 30th. It taken me this long to get the bike just the way I want it. it's like riding down the road in a lazy boy.

I don't think I would want to start all over. So maybe around 30k i may start looking again.

Maybe they will be electric by then.

My 1984 FLTC I bought new and sold five years later with 225000 more or less , on a 1988 FLTC that I sold in 2008 with 342000 more or less , for a 2008 FLTR that I ultra'd out , sold it in March with 48000 on it , for the '11 RGU 103 ..

My riding buddy has put well over 125000 on every Harley he has had in the last 25 years , bout ten , best as I can recall ..

The least I know of for him , was his 10 Ultra that he put 50000 on in less than a year , 47000 of that was the last six months he had it , his 11 Ultra is around 30000 now , this since Thanksgiving , add about 7500 for a disconnected speedo ..

Oh to be retired with no commitments

 

2003 with 56,000 not thinking about it yet.
