Miles is not that important to me more my wallet. If I can afford a new one and find one I like I get it.

I wrecked my last one before I could wear it out. It had 50,011 miles on it. If not for that I wouldn't have gotten my first Harley. Sometimes I consider whether it was worth sliding across the pavement for. Sometimes I think it was, but I wouldn't want to do it again.

I've had many bikes over the years, but this 2011 Road Glide Custom is my first Harley. I intend to keep her for 7-10 years regardless of mileage. My next HD will probably be a full bagger with tour pack, as I sorta wouldn't mind having the extra amenenties they offer. That will probably be the last Harley I ever buy, as I will ride it until it dies. I'm more about the Riding than the Flash.

My days of wasting money by replacing a perfectly good vehicle with a new one are over. Hell, I've still got my perfectly good 2004 Chevy Trailblazer and have no plans to get rid of it unless I give in to my desire for a V8 pickup.

Bought my 2004 Heritage new and rode it for 4 years....put about 25,000 miles on it and traded it in on a 2006 CVO CUSE...,it had 10,000 miles on it. I was sorry I traded the Heritage....but in January, I traded the CVO for a 2010 Street Glide. It had 4800 miles on it and I put everything on it that I wanted. It is a GREAT bike and I'm really loving it. I'll hold onto this one till it falls apart. If anything I will buy an additional bike.....

I've also got a 1973 Honda 750 chopper project that I'm going to get rolling soon. I want to be able to kick start it while I can.......

All my sport bikes got traded in between 35K and 40K. My 2010 Road King is my first Harley. The RK hit 20,000 miles last week. I'm think I'm going to try to keep it for at least 60,000.

i'm not one who feels the need to keep up with the jones's. i have no intention of trading my 08 sg in for a newer model. i can't believe how many guys will feel the need to trade theirs off every two or three years.

I decided to get a bike with ABS. When the Limited came out in Vivid Black for 2011, that was my que. I traded my 07 Electra Glide at 35,000 miles. For me, the primary reason was better braking. I will keep this one for a long time.

I still need to update my sig pic.
