New Mid-Frame Air Deflectors & Large Circulator Seat Pad
Installed the mid-frame air deflectors today and will install the circulator air pad next time I take the bike to work. In this North Mexico, aka South Texas, heat I feel like I have peed my pants all the way up to my shoulder blades most days. The heat coming off of the cat & rear exhaust is lighting up the back of my right calf something fierce. I installed 360 highway pegs last weekend and that has helped out already, but as much as I like to ride her, she is still plenty hot.
Will post an update as soon as I can get a real-world day in the saddle for some testing.

It's your call if it's worth it to change during the day or not. I probaly wouldn't once you get the circular pad.
To me the compression shorts are more for an all day ride kinda thing.

On long days "compression shorts" (a.k.a. Under Armour style underware) will also help a lot.[/quote]

The Under Armour compression shorts work great.
I had heard of wearing them while riding about a year or so ago.
This past summer was so dang hot I had to try something different, so the wife bought me a pair of the Under Armour shorts to try out while riding the bike.
I suggest you try them. They made a huge improvement in riding comfort on hot days.
