I am not bashing the quality of the products, to me some of the styling is a bit too much for me. Their grips I have heard nothing but good reviews on.

I've used Kury products in the past and found most of them to be at least decent quality, although their prices tend to be high, IMO. Their best product is Iso grips, and when I need grips I don't even look at any other product. These are comfortable in the long haul and hand comfort is never an issue with these installed. I've used them for 15 years.

Their Run/Stop/Turn modules (rear lights) are better than the HD variant because they can be set to flash when the brake lights are applied, which to me is an important safety factor. They do cost more but in this case are worth it. Also, the Iso Pegs are very good.

The only item that I've been disappointed in were panacea lights, which I purchased in 2001 for my old RK. They worked well, but after 3½ years the LEDs began to fail one at a time--and the warranty on the LEDs was, of course, 3 years. The unit I had was obsolete and they had no replacement parts, so the only option was to buy a whole new kit for >$300. Pissed-off, I declined and returned it to stock. I didn't buy Panacea lights for my SG because of my previous experience. Screw me once, shame on you. Screw me twice...ain't gonna happen.

The bottom line is that I think they generally make good products, some great, but most are pricey. I agree with Hougz79 that some of the styling themes they use aren't what I would call attractive, but that's a subjective thing. Check with Eastern Performance Cycles before buying, as they have very good prices on Kury stuff and have excellent customer service. They sell on Ebay and also have a website.

However, I'll add that I've heard most of those types of aftermarket chrome gear is all made by the same manufacturers in China anyway, no matter what name is stamped on it. A importer/exporter from Australia told me this. I tend to believe him.

I have their ISO grips and ISO highway pegs with the fold out stirrups and love them both. The stirrups give me 3 different ways to rest/change foot positions and I have found that as long as I give them a really good tighten up about 3 times a year they are fine.

I'm a wash and go rider and the chrome on mine are fine after nearly 2 years. I don't live near salt water however.

Maybe its my location here in South FL, living on the water that ruins it for me.

Kuryakyn chrome can last longer if you spend a lot of time keeping up on them by cleaning and polishing every few days.

Yet I've been very satisfied with Harley chrome farkles on my bikes. Go figure.
I've had the same results and also live on the coast, no more kury for me.

I've had no problem with them. As long as you take care of it you shouldn't have any problems.
