'97-'07 Comfort Stitch Seat Owners Please
I have used search and have read dozens of threads and hundreds of posts looking for some basic information, so please allow me a couple of seat questions.
Have a Sundowner on my '06 FLHX and am looking at the Comfort Stitch seat ('97-'07) due primarily to the fact that the passenger pillion on the Comfort Stitch is much wider than the Sundowner.
For those who use or have used a Comfort Stitch seat ('97-'07), my questions are:
Is is true the Comfort Stitch seat is roughly equivalent to an Ultra Classic seat only with a shorter "nose" for Street Glides and Road Kings)?
Do/did you find the seat comfortable for long trips? Would you recommend this seat? I'm concerned primarily in passenger comfort.

I have the comfort stitch on my 07 RoadKing. It is very comfortable for the passenger, my OL said it makes her feel more secure and alot more comfortable. I personaly do not like my section of it. I do not mind the stock seat. If you are interested I am willing to sell it. PM me if you are interested. I have the rider backrest and hardware to install it also. All directions included. I think it is equivelent. 1 reason I bought it.

I had to switch to that exact seat for my wife's comfort. 17" for the rider, 16" for the passenger (width). But, it forces me up toward the tank and is not as comfortable for me as the stock RK Classic seat. As for the wife... She wins and I am stuck with the comfort stitch unless I ride alone.
