What is it $475 give or take? It's a lot of money for something that can get taken out by a rock from a dump truck next week. Then again, if it throws the light that Harley claims, you wouldn't need auxiliary lights. Moto Lights are very effective but, about $400 by the time you have them installed. Kind of a toss up. So, what say you?

Purchased HD LED headlight for FLHRC few weeks ago to stand out from the crowd- Light certainly is noticeable! LED pattern with running lights turned off as advertised is more intense brighter pattern vs original. Low beam good dispersant field. High beam more of a pencil light straight down the road. Utilizing running lights, on low beam spreads light pattern further left/right of center for good all around after dark riding. Simple plug and play install in :15 mins. In my opinion worth the price...

I'll say that $600 or so for the headlight and 2 auxiliary lamps is highway robbery, IMO. I see well enough with my stock headlight w/ a Silverstar bulb and in order to be better seen, I switched to amber sealed beams in the auxiliaries.
When prices go down, I might consider switching to LEDs but definitely not at the current prices.
My 0.02cts.

Im still on my original set of headlamps on my '04. I keep the passing lamps on all the time, the high on during the day and with the low at night I still get cars "flashing" me cause I guess they are too bright. It sounds to me that if you like the look, get those leds, but, I think I'll put that $600 towards something else.
Now, the rear LEDs are definitely worth the price. I got mine from Heavy Cycles when they first started coming out. It's a great feeling to know that those red lights light up like the sun to warn the cagers that you are stopped at night and at dusk/dawn.
