I put them on all three lamps on my Road King. It made a huge difference in how far I can see down the road, plus it is now a white light, as opposed to the yellow. They are well worth the price to me.

I've also got the Harley LED headlight and auxilliary lamps, and they are worth every penny if you do a lot of night riding. They are also well focused so they don't bother oncoming traffic despite being so bright.

OP....Not sure if up front the led's will make the difference. Can say for sure that the BAL-1 on the rear has. Hoping to be able to say for sure by end of this riding season if the headlight is worth it. Hope by then someone will offer a bullet light with the led bulb.

To each his own I guess. I put the Harley LED on mine...major difference when riding at night. Definitely was worth the price to me.

I added the HD LED headlight and passing lamps. Huge improvement over my silverstar bulb. I was on the fence because of the price. Then a friend of mine hit a vehicle that was overturned on the interstate and had no lights or reflectors towards him. His last minute attempt to avoid it were futile and the injuries sustained by him and his wife will change their lives forever. That night I decided to buy it. I figured I have many thousands of dollars in chrome and preformance mods on my bike, so it only made sense that I buck up for safety, since I do ride at night.

If I only rode during the day I would stick with the stock.

I would really like to say I've tried it and like it. I paid for it back in mid April, still waiting...

I installed the HD LED headlight on my '09 Ultra about two months ago and intend to change out the spots as well. I live out of town and there are a lot of critters on the Georgia backroads at night. I'd like to see them as far in advance as possible. Well worth the cost if you ride a lot at night.

I put on the Kury's (Trucklite) headlamp and passing. I had on the bike at one time Silverstars and also tried PIAA's. I could never not go back to halogen. The LED's are that much better.
