Bogiediver did a great comparison on the lights.

Here is the link https://www.hdforums.com/forum/touri...hd-and-tl.html

Got them on my Dyna and Ultra, I would not spend one penny on Chrome before I bought these bulbs. They are that much of an improvement. This only applies if you actually ride your bike more than to the next bar during daylight hours, if you are in the crowd that trades their bike every 5 years with 3 k miles then go ahead and buy the chrome.

I cannot wait to get one for my bike. Most likely going with the Phase 6 Kury version.

Talking

I just ordered one from my dealer for 393.71 + tax.
New part # 73390-10A. Can't wait to install it.
Does anyone know what was changed to make it an "A" rev?

I think it was said somewhere on the forums that they had to source different parts suppliers due to the tsunami in Japan.

I put the Osram 80/100 on my RG and its been almost perfect. Lights up side to side really well. No issues with them at all, and they are a direct replacement.

I have all 3 of them and really like them. i travel at night when i take road trips and there is really alot of difference. If you don't ride at night don't spend the money. I got all of mine for $ 500.00 when i traded for my new Ultra Limited.

Going to say the same thing I've said in other threads, for about 1/10 the price you can go HID, about the same brightness, and I do drive at night. Just out of curiosity, are there any automotive companies running LED's? Don't get me wrong, I like them, just the pricing is way higher than it should be.

Masterblaster, did you go with the HD or the trucklight on the Dyna?

OP....Not sure if up front the led's will make the difference. Can say for sure that the BAL-1 on the rear has. Hoping to be able to say for sure by end of this riding season if the headlight is worth it. Hope by then someone will offer a bullet light with the led bulb.
