HID also uses halogen bulbs for the high beams, so you only get the true benefit with your low beams. LED as bright at low beams and brighter at high beams.

I have the Harley LED and I like the light. I waited to purchase until my local stealer was running a 20% sale. Don't be surpised if you have trouble adjusting it if you have a big nacelle kit.

I have HID lights on my street glide and they are NOT brighter..8000KV color ...but it sure looks kool....im young and have no problem seeing at night. i do alot of night riding and im not sure if the stock bulb is brighter than the HID light kit i have... its a dual filament set up and the high beam is a halogen style output .. If i ever get the cash ill try the HD L.E.D. setup ..... I would love to have the HD setup but $500 plus dollars is way over priced. I think it should be at $299.99. that sound more like a over priced light setup from Harley. but $500..U got's to be kidding me.. I guess sometimes ,u got to pay to play..............

I want to convert my bike to a 7" light so I can purchase the TruckLight LED headlight. They are just as good (if not better) then the HD ones, are a little cheaper and they are A LOT more visible in the daytime to make yourself more noticeable to others during the day. I wish TruckLight made one to fit the 5 3/4" headlight!

When prices go down, I might consider switching to LEDs but definitely not at the current prices.

No,I don't think it's highway robbery because they don't force anybody to purchase them. It's voluntary and I love them!

Does anyone know what was changed to make it an "A" rev?
They had a fogging problem inside the light,I had my passing lamps replaced for that reason.

But I heard they weren't charging anyone extra for the "fogged" feature.

My HD passing lights have fog in them. For the price they shouldn't do that. SUX

I had my passing lamps replaced under warranty with the new version that's not supposed to fog up. Unfortunately they still do, I just ignore it now.

BMW's new LED headlight has a fan inside to keep condensation at bay.
