Hey All, Have an issue that I cannot figure out with a ( singing ) noise coming from my sg in turns. Tried a search for it but no luck. Going down the road straight, its pretty quiet , as soon as you put her even one degree on angle or ( off straight) something in the bike starts to ( sing ) . The reason I say sing is because its not a squeal or grind or bang. Its just a singing that comes from low on the bike , wheels, belt, tires?. Its been doing this for at least 5k . Last fall we put on a new back tire , the old one was cupped so we thought that could be the humming or (singing ) but it still does it . Due for a new back tire again and still same noise. It sings in both directions , left and right, like i said just the slightest bit off angle into at lean at higher speeds ( above 45?) .I have checked the tires for cupping , a visual on play in wheel bearings , loose belt ect. Anyone have any ideas, its anoying and I cant figure it out. thanks for any suggestions.
Rear tire worn in middle and sides cupped, new asphalt road will make it sound louder. Try an old polished road at same speeds and angle to see if you hear it less.
