Default another fuel mileage thread........

well my fuel mileage economy is between 32-36...........

today I went on a 120 mile ride with pops (my old man 75, his ride of choice 2006 Dyna).

we crusied all day, riding between 2400-3000 rpm. So I fill up after our ride.........40 mpg [8D]

obivious, something is wrong with my bike when I ride solo.......................

I checked mine mileage yesterday, and it came out to about 39 mpg. That was in town, no real freeway riding, solo. I'll check again next time I fill up. I think it should be a little better, although I won't complain if it isn't...

175-180 miles between fill ups and it takes 4.2 gallons to fill up so 41-42 MPG riding two-up.

All around mileage is about 36-37, over 40 cruising the back roads at under 50mph, 31=32 if I ride faster than 70. Ultras push a lot of wind around with the lowers, etc.[8D]

Screw the mileage! Glad to see your old man is riding at 75! My dad is dead, mom is 77 and can't get around too well. Good for you man.

My 04' police EG was getting 49-51 mpg with a mix of
highway/around town/secondary roads in stock form (riding solo),since doing the stage 2 big bore,SE pro exhaust and SE air cleaner my mileage has dropped down to 43-44 mpg's doing the same riding(riding solo) guess i'm not going to complain ,i seem to be doing fairly well on mpg.
