Yes you r right I had the part # s mixed
What would happen If I ran without any cat muffler on either side would there be any performance difference or engine damage

i don't think you had a cat anyway. but no, you would not damage your engine, and if you add a different exhaust, you would probably notice a slight increase. you would see a lot more if you went with the full stage 1.

fuelmoto was recommended a couple posts up. i echo that recommendation. good folks, and they won't steer you wrong.

With stock exhaust most of the exhaust gases go thru the right and at 3K rpm it will suck air in on the left instead exhale"I heard".

get some slip-ons of your choice and a Fulsac true dual kit. Front head pipe stays the same and most of rear cyl stays. I had one and it worked great, easy to install.

I've got an 07 RKC. Like 'skratch' and others have said, you never had a cat. 80% of exhaust comes out the right side because of 2-1-2 exhaust system on a Harley.
