Take Rt. 120 (Tioga Rd.) into Toulumne Meadows. Eat at the Toulumne Meadows Grill.

I go at least everyother 3rd. year since 1977, last visit was 2010:

Camera , Hiking Boots , Rain Cold Weather Gear, Hot weather gear

Yosomite Village - talk to the Bar Keep where the hiking trails are right out the bar area - cool pics

You have got to stay at Yosomite Village till the Sun is completly GONE.... Make sure you have PIAA or A real good head light Bulb Not Stock !

Mariposa Grove
Half Dome
Petrified Forest Hwy 41 Fish Camp side "JackaLope" Very Nice Resturant - must see

If you have time: Tioga Pass:

Take 120 to Fairview Dome - Mono Lake ( get gas ) see the world famus trapese... Again if you have time: take 395 North towards Reno / Carson City - theres a small town - forgot name - but you will go right into it - kinda like a Carson City - very cool

The 120 is closed intill June so yo won't be able to get to 395, but there is plenty to do in the park, nice riding.

+1, I've been hearing rumors of a shut down. It's a beautiful place, I try to go there every year. About an hour and a half drive from where I live.

If you plan to stay go see the falls should be good this year 120 to lee vining is very pretty but check when ever you for the status.Make a stop at historical Wawona hotel and restaurant. Traffic canbe heavy and at the entrance road is not biker friendly in stop n go situation.Half Dome, El capitan,is worth riding by.

Im riding up with a bunch of people Sunday. If it's you first time, you need to check out the waterfalls. They are screaming right now. If your in the valley you can't help but see the big rocks, El Capitan, Half Dome ect... their overwelmingly obvious. Awhanhee Hotel is cool. A ride up to Glacier Point is a spectacular view uncompairable to anything else. Tioga Pass (120) is still closed. I like to go in one way and out another. This weekend it's in on 41 out of Oakhurst and out 140 through Mariposa. Dress warm.
