Default Road King flhrs Question

I have a 07 custom and I was hopeing to get a couple of questions answered.

1. Why doesnt a standard road king seat fit the custom. What is different, the tank?

2. Looking to install a standard road king light bar, passing lamp setup. On ebay for $225.00. Will I have any problems.

Thanks any help would be appreciated.

I have the same bike.

1. As for the seat, I noticed the same thing when searching for seats. Not sure, but I think it may have something to do with the console.

2. I'm pretty sure the light bar setup will work, as I've seen RK Customs with this setup. However, I don't know if there is anything else you will need to install, but should be able to figure it out with a service manual.

Hope this helps, good luck

I put a seat from a classic on my standard, I had to space out the the saddlebags at the top because the lids hit the seat. Hope this helps.

Not sure what you're looking at on E-bay.....thought this might help. Obviously from the HD site.
I bought a variation of this bracket a few months back (from HD). Had new bars (WO 513's).....was wiring the bars anyway and got the turn signals off of the new bars. Best thing I've done to that bike.

Can't help with the seat.
