Default Law Enforcement Helmet

I have a FLHPI and like to look into wearing a police helmet. I think they are legal as long as the police logo is not advertised in front. Is there a cheap place online to get a black and white helmet?

I have an old white 3/4 type helmit that I wear on occasion and you can actually watch as people take a double look, stop, at that stop sign, then buckle thier seat belt. Theres no doubt that a white helmet of that style makes for a safer ride, I know, I was a motor Officer for four years of my career

Curious minds want to know. Be careful with stuff like that. If your bike is white (common for police bikes) then a case can be made in certain situations that you are trying to impersonate a police officer which carries lots of trouble for you. Its a ride thats simply not worth it.

my 2 pennies.

to meet the requirements for impersonating a LEO you must produce the I.D., not just wear a white helmet of ride a white bike.
