I know there have been posts about rain annoying people but it really just got to me. I was hoping to get out for maybe a short ride tomorrow(today). even to the store. but doesnt look like its gonna happen. rain all week. Im hoping they are right for sunday. near 80 and sunny. I should have just bought this thing 2 months later.

 

I'm in Vermont, same thing. After the incredibly bad winter we had that caused me to have to leave the bike in the garage for a month longer than last year, its done nothing but rain since. Been raining here non-stop since Saturday morning. And people wonder why my house is up for sale....

 

Man I tell ya. After taking 5 years off ridin this was the spring to get back in to it.

 

Yep, we're also getting our fair share of the cold wet weather....
It's been raining since last Saturday, and is predicted to continue until
atleast next Monday.....and with the high temps maybe reaching 50*,
its down-right cold with the wind coming in off the ocean.

Hopefully we can make the turn for Memorial Day weekend, and have an
enjoyable summer riding season ahead of us.....

 

Well OK guys, I'm with ya but, at lest I'm bitchin' that I'm getting sick of RIDING in the rain. This weather certainly sux but not enough to make me take that damn car.
Get out, ride, clean, repeat, **** and moan. LOL!

 

i completely understand i know plants need water but damn enough is enough i have not seen the sun since last friday hopefully it will improve this reminds me of the summer of 09 cold wet and dark

 

Your kidding right? It's been so cold (34 degrees this morning) and raining for what seems like forever here in the midwest (Wisconsin) that we're helping to flood out the Mississippi River all the way to the Gulf. Now we've been dealing with 40-50 mph winds. Would kill for some 80 degree weather.

 

Think about the people dealing with flooding all the way down the Mississippi or the people without homes from over 300 tornadoes. The loss of not being able to ride your motorcycle just doesn't compare to those no longer with us. Count your blessings.

 

You spent some serious coin on a sweet looking scoot so why not drop a bit of change on rain gear and get out anyway? There have probably been over a hundred posts where I raved about the HD Hi Vis rain suit. At least winter is behind us so now we can complain about rain and bugs!?!?!?!?!?

 

I feel ya, this weather has sucked for over a month now. Just got my RGU sunday, made it home and thats it.
