893 ST Silverstar bulb is too long to fit
893 sylvania ST bulbs wont fit in driving light housing... Others on the site have said they fit but the connector goes straight out and the stock one is at 90 degrees
Am I doing something wrong?
is there another silverstar bulb with a 90 degree plug? thats bright?

I have the 893's installed on my Road King.
They fit on my bike with a small modification.
At the rear of the connector where the wires come out, cut small notches in the connectors so the wires will exit out the side.
This will keep them from shorting out on the rear of the housing.
The 893 Silverstar is a big improvement over the stock bulbs.

The 893 is a straight base 37.5 watt bulb.
The equivalent would be a 896 right angle base 37.5 watt.
Bulbs to keep in mind would be
881 , 886 , 889 , 894 , 896 , 898.
These will all fit and are different wattages for the passing beam housings.
This would make it easier to install without goofing around.
