Default Pics ... new seat & no more tour pak

Tour pack was the easy part just pulled it off, moved the wiring and its stowed. No way am I'm going to pay for a quick detach when It took me less then 30 mins to pull it off.

The 2nd project was playing about with the spare seat. I shaved it down & reshaped it to fit me when not riding with the tour pak.

Still have my tall boy seat for those big trips this is more just for around town & such.

Still need to move the rear speakers to the lowers & a few more projects but I really like how the seat turned out.

May not be for everyone & sorry for the cell phone photos.

Yup, a lot of folks are making "convertibles" out of their bikes. With the tour pac off, it changes the whole look of the bike. Have fun with it.

I love the way the bike handles without the tourpak. I only use it now on my longer trips.

Bike looks good. My question would be when you do decide to use the tour pack, how long is it going to take to remount it? I have the detachable kit and I can have mine off, on, and off again in 5 minutes. I agree the cost for the kit is a little high, but it's very convenient.
