Aktakoi 116 , 125 like those no's, noones talked about top speed. I know its alot about power roll ons and for some starting but I am a speed freak. Would the 107 require different components to get top end speed?

I'm not ready to throw out the traditional lined jugs. There are plenty of 107 and 98 motors running around on the streets by now, and the reliability of the 3.938 bored jugs has been determined. The nikisil jugs were problematic, and maybe that's all sorted out now, but I don't see a compelling reason to change.

The biggest chore in dropping in a set of pistons and jugs is setting the ring gaps. Once that's done, you can just install the pistons into the jugs from the bottom, and then slide the assembly onto the connecting rod as a unit.

You leave just enough of the piston hanging down underneath the spigot to access the wrist pin. Then all you need to do is install the second wrist pin clip and seat the cylinder down onto the case.

The manual has us install the piston onto the connecting rod with a ring compressor attached. You have to work the piston up into the cylinder and then remove the ring compressor. Either way works, I think the first method is simpler.

Anyone have suggestions for the 107 with the TW-777? I'm running cobra true dual headers and Vance & Hines mufflers with a Kuryakyn Hypercharger...wondering what program would be best to load my Mastertune with? I got ideas, but wondering what others did...also, did not do the CR upgrade...shouldn't need it, but if I do I'll be having Fuel Moto port, polish and put the CR in.

From what I read here it sounds like if you do the 107 with head work...you may need crank welded if tq is 120+..?
