The HD connectors maybe water resistant quality but the PC connectors aren't.
Thanks Tim, that makes more sense. I'm using the PCV5. It's probably a differnt type of connector. I have always used dialectric grease on all of my electrical connectors in the past.

It is the idle air control valve, clean or replace. Cleaning fixed mine

How difficult is it to take the air control valve off?

mine was air idol control as well,i replaced it but u can try cleaning it,remove the air cleaner its on the top of the throttle body small hole in throttle body with a round plastic thing mounted ontop,hose it down with some carb cleaner.
