Default What size wheels? Street Glide

Wheels are next on my list. Just wondering what size you guys are running front and rear? Any advantage to the bigger wheels other than looks. 21" front looks sick, but are you guys also running a bigger back as well.? Any modifications involved with the bigger wheels?
Any suggestions on a black and chrome contrast? Thanks

I would like to know the same thing. I have done about all I can do except for the wheels. I was told that the ride suffers with the 21 and to lower the bike an inch. That scares me cause I got 4" extended bags and the stock street glide comes lowered an inch already from the factory. What to do. I want the 21 but not at the expense of the ride.

I have a 21 on the front and the ride is fine. Really no difference from the stock wheel (18), but that is just my opinion. I left the rear stock size but did change the wheel to match the front. I have extended bags and long fender and haven't had any problems in cornering.

21" front and 18" rear on my 2010 Street Glide. The ride is the same. Bike does feel like its a tad bit taller. Only adjustments made were to the front fender. She rides and looks great.

You lower the front an inch, not the whole bike.
.......and that just puts it back to close to the stock height, not any lower.

I am leaning towards a 21/17 combo. I will also lower the front 1" with progressive springs. I think I want to go with the 17 so I could also go with the 200 tire and still be ok with handling.

I like that fender. Who makes it?

26x3.75 front with a 120/50-26 - needed raked neck and trees
17x6.25 rear with 200/50-17 - direct bolt up.
