Thanks for posting all your hard work Joe. Once I get the bike back I plan to do some little detail things to the scoot, install the Streetglide rear signal setup I have had for awhile, and start thinking about what color paint I am gonna do. Oh yeah, and RIDE !

front end buttoned up and took it out for a little shake down to try everything out... handles awesome, the preload is perfect and the 20w oil seems to be the spot on match for the forks... the brakes work great and stop this big tank like no tomorrow!
very pleased so far!

Looks good joe.....Hard to believe that getting rid of the dual front discs and going to a single....that you could still have good braking....I know it's done for looks, but still.....must be the 6 piston caliper.

To the owner. take a rag and some Brasso, and put brasso on the front wheel spacers then put the rag over them and briskly pull the towel back and forth...you can polish them out in only a few minutes and don't have to pull the wheel!

scary to belive that with the floor boards, brackets, shifter, brake lever, and all the linkage there was 35 total pieces there to coat!!!!

The bike is looking great, you do a fantastic job and the owner is gonna be proud! BUT...I just can't get excited about those bars or the angle their in.To me,they just don't go with the lines of the bike. But that's just my 2cents!
Question for ya....we've got some guys here in town that just started a powder coat business.I haven't stopped in yet but when you take pieces in,do they(pieces) need to already be prepped or is it like the chroming shops that prefer to do their own prep?

we started to pull the carbide out of the oven... Sean is going to try and snap a pic to show the texture of this powder... has a almost velvet look to it. very trick and should flow nicely wiht the stock motor coating work
