What's the easiest way to pull the clutch to change the drive belt. I have the primary cover and chain off. Just thought I'd check with the pros. Thanks in advance. Mike
I don't know of an easy way. You basically pull the outer primary, clutch & compensator, starter, inner primary, rear wheel and swing arm. I can't see any quicker way around that.
Dumb question but why pull the swingarm when you could pull one or both shocks? Unless I am missing something obvious, with the shock(s) removed, what would be preventing the belt from being pulled back over the swingarm?
Pulling the shocks is no help. You would still need to get the belt inside the frame tube that runs under the primary. Only way to do that is remove the swing arm.
