Default Front end wobble fixed.

A few months ago I posted about a problem with a front end wobble. One suggestion was that tires were the problem. I didn't believe it, because the tires looked OK.
I finally wore my back tire out and decided to replace them both with Dunlop E3s. I had them on my last bike and liked them a lot. I had them put on Saturday and it's like a new bike. The wobble's gone and this thing rides like a dream.
All I can figure out is the rear tire was causing the wobble. The front tire still looks good.

Default whine now gone

I had a similar experience. My bike would make a whining noise whenever I went around a corner or swerved it left or right. I thought it was a wheel bearing because of all the posts I read here. So took it in to the dealer to have the brakes bled, and asked them to look at the bearings. The SM said my rear tire was cupped and that was causing the problem. I too was skeptical, but since it had 14K plus miles on it and then they found a small nail in it, I had it replaced. No more noise. Guess they do know what they were talking about.

Tyres go past their best before they get to the wear marks, even if they wear well in all other regards. Doesn't do to try and get that last bit of life out of them.

My rear and most others I have seen tend to wear down to almost a flat surface rather than rounded as they are new. So I can see where that would make a wobble as it tried to track down the road. I have new tires coming next week. Best part is they are coming with new wheels too.
