Ok question, lets see if anyone knows since my local stealer didn't really know. I've got the Premium Tour Pak Luggage rack 53665-87 and the Touring Saddlebag Lid Rails 53640-96 on my 04 Ultra. I'm looking to switch to the air wing racks on both the tour pak and saddlebags. Now did some research on HD's website and can't find a template to match them from new to old racks or any specs of how far the holes are apart. Has anyone switched these and are the bolt holes drilled in the lids of both tour Pak and saddlebag tops the same from the old racks to the Air wings? Thank you in advance for any advice and even sarcastic comments, lol.

 

I doubt that another premium rack would be close enough to fit the same holes without some tweaking but having said that get an air wing out of the box and measure the legs or take yours in and put them against one another to see.

 

I am not sure about the tour pack holes, but the saddlebags are different. I was able to make it work. I used an old piece of rubber from a foot peg to make up the difference.

 

SO Natetp1227, the holes drilled are bigger from the old rack on the saddlebag top compared to the Air Wing? Are they the same distance as well?
