I ride a 06 Ultra. I do not have the AUX selection feature on my HK stereo when I plug in my iPod. I do have the other selections, AM, FM, CD, WB, but AUX should be the last selection and it is not there. Could it be because the 1/8" recpitacal is bad and not recognizing that I have plugged in the iPod? I think AUX is only available when something is plugged in. What about the download to update the HK system. Would that help? If so, where can I get it? Any help will be great. Thanks.

 

Take it to your local dealer and have em reprogram it.

 

u are correct try turning on the ipod plugging it in then scroll through the input.it is possible the input plugg is bad they are very easy to crack intrenally(ive done it)it even states in the owners manuel that its not covered under warreny.

 

Sounds to me a new Aftermarket stereo project is in your future

 

There have been very good reports from members about an outfit called Iron Cross Audio (IIRC). Very affordable work including remounting the AUX input to the rear of the unit. Cheaper than a new unit.:-)
